The Creator Behind SCENOVAI

Where creative direction, storytelling, and technology come together.

Cherrelyn Joy Y. Moreno is a Filipino Creative Director, multimedia creator, designer, and AI Creative Director working at the intersection of storytelling, visual production, and emerging technology.

Her work combines creative direction, animation, visual development, digital design, film and video editing, and AI-integrated multimedia production—bringing together the creative and technical disciplines required to transform ideas into complete visual experiences.

A significant part of this experience came through her work as Creative Director for A+ Heroes, an AI-driven anime anthology focused on cultural legends and heroes. Her work involved directing, writing, animation, visual development, and the integration of multiple AI tools throughout the production process.

Working across these productions provided first-hand experience with the challenges of coordinating fragmented creative and AI-generation workflows. This professional experience became an important foundation for the conception of SCENOVAI.

SCENOVAI: A Capstone Built From Experience

SCENOVAI is the culminating capstone project of Cherrelyn Joy Y. Moreno's Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, specialized in Multimedia Technologies, under the Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program (ETEEAP) at Lyceum of the Philippines University–Batangas.

The project brings together information technology, multimedia production, user experience design, artificial intelligence, and creative direction into a single production environment.

Rather than treating the capstone as a purely academic exercise, SCENOVAI was conceived as an industry-oriented multimedia production system—exploring how AI can support the end-to-end creative process while keeping human creative direction at the center.

Why I Built SCENOVAI

Years of working in multimedia production revealed a recurring challenge: creating a finished story often requires moving between numerous disconnected tools for writing, visual development, image generation, narration, animation, music, and editing.

Each tool can perform its individual task, but maintaining a consistent creative vision across the entire production can become difficult.

SCENOVAI was created to explore a different approach.

Instead of treating AI as a collection of isolated generators, SCENOVAI brings creative planning and AI-integrated production into a structured workflow—allowing an idea to develop, stage by stage, into a finished production.

The Academic Purpose

Bridging Professional Experience & IT

The ETEEAP framework provides an academic pathway for experienced professionals to demonstrate competencies developed through professional practice alongside formal academic learning.

SCENOVAI represents that convergence.

Its development brings together creative experience gained through professional multimedia production with technical competencies in Information Technology, including system design, user experience, interface development, AI integration, multimedia workflows, and application development.

The Vision

AI should amplify the creator—not replace the creative director.

SCENOVAI explores a future where artificial intelligence can support complex production tasks while the human creator remains responsible for the story, creative decisions, direction, and vision.

The goal is not simply to generate content faster.

The goal is to help creators turn ideas into complete stories with greater control, consistency, and creative intent.
